SOSTENIBILITAT A HAMAR / SUSTAINABILITY IN HAMAR

Hui el nostre alumnat de 4t ESO ha visitat el centre “Resirkula” i la planta de Tractament d’aigües residuals “Hias” a Hamar. El primer és un centre que no sols serveix com a punt de recollida de materials reciclables sinó que també té una secció destinada al recondicionament i reutilització d’objectes per donar-los una segona vida posant-los a la venda. “Hias” és una planta on no sols es depuren les aigües residuals que o bé tornen al llac Mjøsa o son utilitzades per a regadiu sinó que a més estan patentant l’extracció de fòsfor de les aigües que serveix com a fertilitzant dels seus camps. Iniciatives que milloren la sostenibilitat de la regió. 

Today our 4th-ESO students visited the Resirkula Centre and the Hias sewage treatment plant in Hamar. Resirkula is a centre that is not only used as a pick-up point of recyclable materiales, but it also has a section for the reconditioning and reuse of objects to give them a second life by selling them. Hias is a plant where not only sewage is properly treated (either by returning it to Mjøsa lake or by using it for irrigation), but also the extraction of phosphorus from the sewage (which is then used as a field fertiliser) is being patented. All these initiatives are improving the sustainability in this region.
